National Ceviche Day is Tuesday, June 28 and some of Chicago’s top restaurants are celebrating the food holiday with specials.
Cantina Laredo in River North will offer half-priced ceviche in the upstairs lounge on Tuesday, June 28 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Chef Hector Rivera features Chilean Seabass marinated in lime juice with poblano pepper, jalapeno, cilantro and tomatoes for $5.50 (regularly $11).

Nacional 27 in River North will offer seven styles of ceviche for three consecutive days from June 28-30.
Chef Chico Vilchez’s festive flavors include, Rainbow (octopus, shrimp, tuna, cilantro marinade $9.95); Chipotle Salmon (tomato, pickled onion, lime jicama $10.95);
Lobster Citrus (onions, cucumber $12.95); Shrimp & Scallops (citrus, sweet peppers, avocado $9.95); Spicy Octopus & Crab (jicama, cucumber $10.95); Ahi Tuna & Watermelon (spicy rice wine vinaigrette $9.95); and Peruvian Shrimp (onions, cucumber, choclo $9.95). Pair your ceviche with refreshing Latin libations, including Pisco Sours made with Pisco Porton for $10 each.
