Everyone that has ever stayed at a DoubleTree by Hilton knows one of the best parts of the stay is checking in and getting its world-famous chocolate chip and walnut cookies (and the worst part is when it is all gone).
On Thursday, August 4, National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, DoubleTree by Hilton and Amtrak are teaming up to put a smile on faces with free cookies at over 460 DoubleTree by Hilton hotels, no reservation or stay required, and at pop-ups at Chicago’s Union Station (4 p.m. to 7 p.m.) and New York City’s Penn Station, plus the first 25 people to mention “Nice Travels” will receive a full tin of cookies from the Traveler Tin Collection. The sweet giveaway is part of the leading hotel chain’s campaign, Nice Travels, a multichannel movement led by Doubletree by Hilton that drives random acts of kindness to prove that “nice” is contagious.
The brand marks its annual celebration of the holiday with the launch of the Traveler Tin Collection of seven cookie tins. Destinations commemorated by the Traveler Tin Collection include California, Chicago, Florida, New York, Texas, The Carolinas and Canada, with additional international destinations to launch later this year. Travelers can purchase tins from the collection at participating DoubleTree by Hilton hotels and online at doubletreecookies.com.
In addition, cookie lovers can win a tin full of cookies at home and post a video from each Traveler Tin destination through August 12, 2016 on Instagram and DM it to @doubletree.
