Trader Todd’s in Wrigleyville is raising the bar when it comes to National Pie Day on Jan. 23 with their homemade key lime pie. Treat your tastebuds to a tropical vacation with the rich flavors of the Trader Todd’s one-of-a-kind key lime pie.
The Key Lime Pie is made from scratch as a miniaturized whole pie rather than a traditional slice. Sour cream is added to the filling to spoil your tastebuds, and the house-made whipped topping is dusted with toasted coconut. Our chef’s secret is to use a dash of Don Q coconut rum in the graham cracker crust.
Trader Todd’s (3216 N Sheffield Ave, Chicago) is a pan-tropical bar and restaurant, featuring a broad menu of fresh and original options. It has also been home to 15 years of Chicago’s best karaoke.
