The Chocolate Sanctuary Participates in Lake County Restaurant Week

The Chocolate Sanctuary, one of Lake County’s most popular restaurants, unveils its $12 prix fixe lunch menu and $25 prix fixe dinner menu in conjunction with Lake County’s Restaurant Week, which runs from March 3-12.

Executive Chef Ahmed G. Mora and Pastry Chef Hailey Marciniak have created three-course menus from which guests can choose from a variety of cocoa-tizers, entrées and desserts.

Highlights from the dinner menu include:

Cocoa-spiced Butternut Squash Soup

Sanctuary Cocoa-Spiced Ribs tossed in cocoa-infused Jack Daniel’s® Barbecue Sauce Chicken Mascarpone and Savory Cocoa Fettuccine with cocoa orange sauce, grilled chicken, crispy leeks, baby arugula and heirloom cherry tomatoes

Cocoa-Nib Crusted Salmon with orange zest, grilled polenta, Brussels sprouts and citrus beurre blanc sauce

Roasted Sakura Pork Loin with garlic mash potatoes, green bean and cocoa-cranberry sauce

Lunch selections include half sandwiches and a smaller portion of the Chicken Mascarpone. Both the lunch and dinner menu feature Dark Chocolate S’mores, Chocolate-filled Beignets and Cheesecake Tarts for the dessert course.
