Hi! I’m excited to let you know about San Diego’s newest outdoor food markets starting on Sunday August 26th – Lane Field Park Markets – a weekly artisanal showcase of the creative food, drink, art and craft scene in San Diego. Set in the beautiful park opposite the Bay, with picnic areas and lawn games, all creating an amazing family friendly atmosphere.
The markets will compliment San Diego’s existing market scene, whilst offering something new and different. We will create a welcoming space to bring the community and visitors to the city together, turning the park into a thriving urban sanctuary each Sunday. Featuring some of San Diego’s established restaurateurs, retailers and vendors whilst also unveiling up and coming creators, launching the careers of local new talents.
New vendors, activities, performances and pop up installations will be introduced periodically to bring people back to the markets week after week. We will commence on the 26th August with 25 vendors and will grow week by week, adding new vendors and new points of interest.
Lane Field Park Markets is proud to be working with and supporting the small businesses of San Diego.
To be held every Sunday from 10am until 4pm, the event is free, fully accessible, and open to the public.
