The venue will also be offering yellow-pin bowling where a strike scored on a yellow-pin headed pin set earns the bowler a $36 gift card, PAC-DRINKS, “flash” PAC SWAG awards, PAC-MAN Battle Royale competitions, and, after 2 p.m., half-priced PAC-PIZZA presented with a slice removed from the pie and served on a separate plate. What would the party be without the birthday boy himself? PAC-MAN will be conducting meet-and-greets and a T-shirt toss from Noon-12:30 p.m. and 2:00-2:30 p.m.
Bandai Namco revolutionized interactive entertainment when it introduced PAC-MAN in 1980, and NAMCO USA named Level 257 for the game’s legendary level 256 ‘kill screen’. The 40,000-square-foot space showcased a variety of new and artfully restored nostalgic video games during its first year, and was the first to bring retro bowling lanes and classic rec-room games to area residents. Level 257 also celebrated the 35th anniversary of PAC-MAN™ with an over-the-top birthday party that garnered international media attention.
From retro “flipper” pinball, to video games dating back to 1979 and the latest versions of PAC-MAN, Level 257 has brought a combination of nostalgia and modern play to an elegant lounge-like environment with elevated food and drink.
