While they may be known for their great steaks, lounge-like atmosphere and warm hospitality, in recent years, Tortoise Supper Club (TSC) has also become a destination for discerning martini drinkers in search of the high quality. The skilled bartenders at Tortoise have developed a reputation for perfecting the art of martini making – and that’s something worth celebrating!
Beginning Monday, July 17th, the River North restaurant will host their first annual Martini Week – a seven day celebration of the classic libation. With the purchase of any entrée at lunch or dinner, guests can enjoy a premium vodka martini (made with Ketel One) or gin martini (made with Broker’s Gin) for only $3.95 each. Diners can elect to have their martini made any way they want (shaken or stirred, dirty or straight up, with a twist, an olive or an onion) and are welcome to order as many as they want (each additional martini will still only be $3.95!)

Peppercorn Crusted New York Strip Steak served with Au Poivre Sauce and Oak Aged Bourbon Meatloaf with Foraged Mushrooms and Buttery Mashed Potatoes. Understanding the dietary restrictions and lifestyle choices of today’s diner, Chef Browning proudly offers many gluten free options.
Weekly specials include Half Priced Signature Cocktails on Wednesdays, Sautéed Frog Legs and Buttermilk Battered Cod on Fridays, Northwoods Dry Rubbed Prime Rib on Saturdays and $1 Oysters / $1 Shrimp Cocktail from 4:30 – 6:30 pm on weekdays. Live Sinatra-style jazz music is played in the lounge every Friday and Saturday night.
Tortoise Supper Club is located at 350 North State St. in Chicago, IL. Lunch is served Monday – Friday from 11:30 am – 4:00 pm; dinner is served Monday – Thursday from 4:00 pm – 9:30 pm, Friday & Saturday from 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm and Sunday from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The lounge is open until midnight.
