Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier looks forward to joining this year’s Santa Monica Restaurant Week, taking place January 7-13, 2019. Come in and try the one-of-a-kind funnel cake that celebrates the sweet and tasty persimmon fruit as a “Persimmon Funnel Cake.” Guests can share their photos on social media using #SMRestaurantWeek.
Pacific Park’s “Persimmon Funnel Cake” features a freshly made funnel cake topped with powdered sugar, whipped cream, and drizzled with sweetened persimmon compote. Guests to Pacific Park can visit the Funnel Cakes shop in the oceanfront food plaza and enjoy a “Persimmon Funnel Cake” for $9.
“We look forward to participating in Santa Monica Restaurant Week each year so that we can push the envelope in culinary uniqueness,” said Paul Garnica, Director of Food and Beverage at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier. “The ‘Persimmon Funnel Cake’ is a natural fit for Pacific Park since we have a variety of unique food and beverage offerings at our two-acre amusement park on the world-famous Santa Monica Pier.”
Santa Monica Restaurant Week is a Santa Monica-based dining campaign crafted by Santa Monica Travel & Tourism (SMTT). Held in conjunction with California Restaurant Month, the week-long program highlights participating restaurants throughout Santa Monica that will each craft a healthy, custom dish, centered around this year’s special restaurant week ingredient – the persimmon.
