Burger and wine lovers can’t miss Red, White and Blues—a weekly, live music event every Thursday featuring a signature wine and burger pairing menu at TART restaurant, nestled inside the iconic Farmer’s Daughter Hotel in the historic Fairfax District in L.A.,
For the first two Thursdays in the series, guests will be entertained by the talent of blues artist, Wynell Montgomery on the restaurant’s outdoor porch under the twinkling lights as they cozy up to the fire pits. Montgomery has extensive experience as a Jazz Saxophonist, Pit Orchestra member, and Flute Solo and he has worked professionally with many different artists in the industry – most recently with Solomon Burke and Billy Preston.
For the Red, White and Blues series, Executive Chef Keith Shutta has carefully paired each uniquely crafted burger with its perfect match – delicious wines made in the Burgundy region of eastern France.
The menu includes a choice of:
- The Bacon Jam Burger – 7-ounce bordelaise beef burger with bacon jam, taleggio cheese, arugula on a perfectly charred ciabatta
- The Brown Butter Mushroom Burger – 7-ounce beef burger with brown butter mushrooms, melted Swiss cheese, crispy onions and a dash of mayo on a sweet brioche bun
Every Thursday, burger and wine pairings are $24 a person (exclusive of tax and gratuity) and will be available from 5pm-close. Music is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. only.
